ABOUT US • MERIDIAN STUDIO • creative venture

we create
what matters

“meridian is a creative venture built on a simple belief: the things we create should mean something.”

We believe in ideas that challenge perspectives, stories that stay with us, images that make us feel, and experiences that connect people in ways words alone cannot.

Working across filmmaking, advertising, visual storytelling and digital media, Meridian brings together creative thinking and cinematic craft to develop work that is not only visually compelling, but also purposeful, distinctive and memorable.

We don’t believe in creating for the sake of creating. We believe in finding the idea worth pursuing, the story worth telling and the perspective worth sharing.

That is where Meridian begins.

FOUNDATION

built on experience
driven by possibility

EST. TWO DECADES OF CRAFT & STRATEGY

Meridian draws its foundation from nearly two decades of experience across filmmaking, advertising, creative direction, digital content and visual communication.

Founded by Kaustav Biswas, Meridian reflects a journey shaped by different industries, creative challenges, changing technologies and an enduring curiosity about people, culture and the world around us.

With a background in filmmaking and advertising, Kaustav brings together the sensibilities of a storyteller and the thinking of a creative strategist. His experience spans the development of ideas, narrative construction, brand communication, creative execution and the pursuit of stories that can connect with audiences.

“great creative work begins with a point of view. technology and tools may evolve, platforms may change, and audiences may move on to new formats, but the need for compelling ideas and authentic storytelling remains.”

Meridian is an extension of that philosophy—a space to bring ideas to life, explore new creative possibilities and build original work with lasting value.

COLLECTIVE DISCIPLINE

three perspectives
one creative vision

Cinematic work is never a solitary pursuit. It thrives at the intersection of narrative direction, intentional cinematography, and editorial rhythm.

[ 01 / DIRECTION ]

Kaustav Biswas

Founder • Creative Direction • Storytelling

A filmmaker by inclination and a creative thinker by experience, Kaustav has spent 17–18 years working across filmmaking, advertising, digital media and visual storytelling.

At Meridian, he leads the creative vision—from identifying the central idea and shaping its narrative to defining how it should be experienced.

“what are we trying to say, and why should it matter?”
[ 02 / CINEMATOGRAPHY ]

Subhro

Director of Photography • Visual Storytelling

Every story has a visual language. Subhro brings the cinematographer’s perspective to Meridian, helping translate ideas, emotions and narratives into images that communicate beyond dialogue.

Through composition, light, and movement, his role is to establish the look and feel while serving the story.

“cinematography is not simply about making images beautiful. it is about making every frame intentional.”
[ 03 / EDITORIAL ]

Kuntal

Editor • Rhythm, Narrative • Post-Production

A story is not only defined by what is captured, but also by what is selected, shaped and brought together.

Kuntal brings the editorial perspective to Meridian, working with footage, rhythm, pacing, transitions and sound to transform individual moments into a cohesive viewing experience.

“the edit is an essential part of storytelling, not merely the final step in production.”

THE PHILOSOPHY

The Meridian Philosophy

The name Meridian evokes direction, alignment and a point of reference. It represents the meeting of perspectives and the possibility of discovering new horizons.

That spirit informs everything we aspire to create. We want to tell stories that resonate, develop ideas that travel beyond their starting point, and build creative properties that can grow into something larger than a single project.

Not simply to make more
But to create what matters
